Transition door
Transition doors are installed at the ends of rail cars to protect passengers and train personnel. On the one hand the doors serve as a barrier at the end of a train and on the other hand the inside of the waggon is separated from the outside. Our door system is a modular construction with extruded aluminum profiles. The door content can be made of glass or a honeycomb panel according to customer specifications. A special feature is the glass surface flush with the door frame. This avoids heels in the door and allows a narrower design of the door cassette.
